Academic Learning & Integration

When you enrol with Thriving Roots, you have a number of options in order to also fulfill your requirements to be enrolled as a K-12 student in B.C.

Thriving Roots is a private organization for supplementary learning, NOT a certified K-12 school.

Option 1: Enrol with a regular public school in your area and enquire with them if it is possible to attend one of our private programs one or two days per week.

Option 2: Enrol with a B.C. Online School (either public or private) and follow the curriculum as prescribed by your teacher at home, while supplementing your learning by attending our Thriving Roots full time or part-time private programs.

Option 3: Enrol with a public B.C. Online School that offers in-person classes once or twice a week, and then enrol and attend Thriving Roots on other days of the week.

For options 2 and 3, there may be some funding available for you to use toward Thriving Roots classes, when our program can be structured as part of your child's Student Learning Plan provided by a Third-Party Service Provider, and approved by your Online School teacher.

Option 4: Enrol as a homeschooler with your local school, and attend Thriving Roots either part or full time.
