A time for you to come together with Elders of the Thriving Roots community to ask questions, hear stories and share what is in your heart
We invite you to join us around the fire with elders in the Thriving Roots community. It's our aim to co-create healthy cross-generational connections that so many of us are longing for. Sometimes there will be stories of personal journeys, sometimes there will be opportunities to bring questions that are in your heart. There will be serious moments and there will be celebration and laughter. We hope you will join us in experiencing the power of sitting in circle in cross-generational connection.
Why we do it:
Many cultures and communities recognize that healthy interaction and communication between generations is essential to the strength and integrity of the community. The value and roles of elders are not typically well understood within Western culture which is why Thriving Roots is consciously building this opportunity.
The Elders Fire will be held one Friday every month 7pm-9pm.
Location: Cedar Song, 119 Ross Durrance Rd, Victoria. Park in the lower Cedar Lot and look for signs for directions.
